Not a coincidence — a shared inheritance: Hebrew תנור and Arabic tannūr both go back to Akkadian tinūru (via Aramaic tannūrā, already in Ugaritic tnr), the ancient clay oven that fed the whole Fertile Crescent. Spelled and pronounced almost identically in both languages today.
