For schools

Teach Arabic through the Hebrew your students already speak

Hebrabic maps Arabic onto Hebrew, and Hebrew onto Arabic: letter to letter, root to root, word to word. Teachers get classes, assignments, and a progress dashboard; students get a course that starts from what they already know.

Why it works in a classroom

Starts from what students know

Every word is tagged as a true cognate, a shifted meaning, a false friend, a loanword, or a new word, so students see how much they already recognize.

Both directions, one platform

Hebrew speakers learning Arabic and Arabic speakers learning Hebrew use the same content, with the interface in Hebrew, Arabic, or English.

Classes in minutes

Create a class, share a six-character join code, and students are in. No installs: it runs in any modern browser, on computers and phones.

Assignments that fit your plan

Assign flashcard decks, reading and grammar lessons, dialogues, and quizzes, with due dates.

Progress you can show

A live dashboard per class, a CSV export, and a printable outcomes report with activity, scores, assignment completion, and the words students found hardest.

Standard Arabic and the street

Modern Standard Arabic throughout, with the spoken Levantine, Egyptian, or Moroccan form wherever it differs.

How a pilot works

  1. 1

    Get in touch

Tell us about your school, the grades, and how many students you'd like to include.

  2. 2

    Set up your school

We create your school workspace and invite your teachers.

  3. 3

    Teachers open classes

Each teacher creates classes, shares the join codes, and sets the first assignments.

  4. 4

    Teach for a semester

Use Hebrabic in lessons and for homework. Teachers follow progress on the dashboard.

  5. 5

    Review the results together

At the end, each class's outcomes report shows what students practiced and where they struggled.
